Well, Oprah, Thanks for Having me on the show.

This card is pretty good. Not a bad picture as far as pictures go. She looks off camera, appears to be interested and listening… yet still having a good time.

It says “Yes, dealing with me will be serious (I am wearing a white shirt, afterall), but we’ll also have a little bit of fun while we’re at it.”

Card puts her name first, not the agency, which I like, and then the agency has a nice, almost understated logo.

I find it crazy that her last name is Maple and she works for the real estate agency “Greene” and their logo is a tree… I mean, sure, it’s not the right kind of tree, but still. It seems almost fake, like how porn-stars names are fake… but I’m guessing it’s her real name.

Good use of colors, and her arm coming out of the crazy color background gives this card a sense of dimension not found in other cards.

Sprinklers?

Okay, Seth. I’m not sure what you’re going for with the in-ground sprinklers.

I mean, they’re not that common… not everyone can afford in-ground sprinklers.

It also gives you this sense, of, well, wetness. No one wants to buy a wet house.

I mean, I don’t. And I don’t think most people do.

It also sends out the wrong environmental message — look at me, I waste water by using not one, but 3 different sprinklers. Going at the same time! On grass that’s already pretty darn green. Come on, Seth, let’s get water-smart.

Oh, and Seth — A comcast.net email address? That’s something I don’t really like. Who wants to do realestate dealings knowing that Comcast, America’s Largest Cable Company, has access to the intimate details of your transaction. You think someone at comcast doesn’t read your emails?

The domain at the end of your email address says as much about you as a your picture, the way your listings are written, etc. With an increasingly internet-savvy audience, these are the types of things people notice.

So, while you get credit for trying something different… it sends a weird mixed message.
